Sunday Class

Sunday Class is an initiative of Prof. SVM Satyanarayana. The classes are at the postgraduate level in Physics. For the last 27+ years, the Sunday class has been helping students gain a deeper understanding of Physics and prepare for the CSIR National Eligibility Test (NET) for lectureship and Junior Research Fellowships. The classes were previously held at the seminar hall of the Department of Nuclear Physics, University of Madras, Chennai. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the classes have been conducted online via Google Meet
Sunday Class for CSIR NET Physics
Sunday classes are being conducted currently via online meetings in googlemeet platform, every Sunday from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM IST. Occasionally problem solving sessions are conducted in the afternoon sessions.
Prof. SVM Satyanaraya Memorial Lecture Series
Occasionally by the distinguished members of the physics community, to honor the remarkable life, legacy, and contributions of Satya sir.
Workshops
Problem-solving workshops to tackle the CSIR and GATE examinations are being conducted to celebrate the birth anniversary of Satya Sir. These full-day workshops will be held offline.
